Please take some time to register your guitar in the Heartfield Central Serial numbers database by sending an email to the maintainer of these pages, Richard Karsmakers.
In your email, please help us by answering the following questions:
1) What is the colour? (check the respective guitar type pages of this site)
2) What is the branding info on the headstock? (Fender / Heartfield / Heartfield with a small "by Fender")
3) What is the serial number?
4) If the serial number is not on the back of the headstock, where is it?
5) In which country do you live?
6) Are you perhaps the original owner?
7) If not, who did you get it from? (name and country of residence is enough)
8) When did you buy it? (year would be cool, month would be perfect)
9) Do you know of any modifications that have been performed?
10) If your guitar is an Elan, is the binding tinted white-ish, or the same colour as the body?
11) If your guitar is an Elan III, is the hardware gold-plated or black?
12) If it an EX-1, does it have the 'old' control layout (see the gallery for an example)?
13) If your guitar is an Elan or EX-2, please submit pictures so we can add your axe to the galleries. Decent sized pictures please, one full frontal and one body detail shot
Thank you.
